This section provides an example of how the AMA brings together a united voice for physicians and works on their behalf as advocates for a quality health care system. Quality health care is the cornerstone for all AMA activities including the Health Issues Council, work through the Toward Optimized Practice program (for clinical practice guidelines and other services such as practice change support services) and the Alberta Perinatal Health program (includes for former AMA Committee on Reproductive Health).
This section also facilitates access to links to: the AMA, CMA and College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta position statements, policies and motions; health-related and member sites; as well as medical journals in other clinical and medical sites.
