4th Annual Radiology Update for the Family Physician

MIC Medical Imaging invites family physicians to attend our 4th Annual Radiology Update. This one-day session gives attendees an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the latest advances in radiology.
  • Interact with MIC’s radiologists during “Ask Us Anything” sessions which are back by popular demand.
  • Attend an informative session on nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Participate in our highly rated, small group, live ultrasound demonstrations.

Highlights:

  • Up-to-date sessions on popular imaging exams including MSK Imaging, Ultrasound of lumps and bumps, breast imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and more.
  • State-of-the-art techniques in prostate cancer screening and diagnosis by urology guest lecturer Dr. Adam Kinnaird MD, PhD, FRCSC, Frank and Carla Sojonky, Chair in Prostate Cancer Research.
  • Engage in two “Ask Me Anything” panels with sub-specialty radiologists.
  • Small group sessions:
    • Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS): No hand-holding required
    • Identify the maneuvers required for MSK ultrasound imaging
    • Requisition [in] Jeopardy: Getting the imaging your patients need
  • Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
