Topics covered will include sexual assault forensic kits, trauma-informed care, chronic pelvic pain, male and transgender sexual health, sexually transmitted infections, strangulation and human trafficking.

The full-day course on April 4 is designed to share core training and a management update for urban and rural healthcare professionals on sexual assault.

The half-day pre-course on April 3 will include sessions on how to conduct a sexual assault examination, legal multi-disciplinary case reviews and physician expert testimony preparation.
