The vision of this course is to provide clinical topics relevant to physicians, nurses and other health care professionals who practice in rural communities. Through a combination of plenary lectures, small group interactive sessions and hands-on workshops, participants will review current issues, guidelines and trends in the management of patients presenting to the emergency department in rural hospitals.
