Cirrhosis and alcoholic hepatitis are frequent causes for hospital admissions. This course will focus on the in-patient management of cirrhosis and alcoholic hepatitis with a goal to decrease readmissions. At the end of this course, learners will be equipped to: describe the management of alcoholic hepatitis, describe the management of complications of cirrhosis, develop strategies to reduce readmissions for patients with alcoholic hepatitis and cirrhosis.
