Virtual Black Physicians Summit

Presented by Black Physicians of Canada

Sunday, February 28, 2021

Black Physicians of Canada is excited to announce its first biannual Black Physician and Trainee Summit. Following a trying year of uncertainty and hardship, join in solidarity as we gather to envision a more equitable and thriving future. We have only begun to peel back the layers on the systemic and institutional racism facing Black Canadians, and in particular, Black physicians and trainees.

The February Summit will be a formal introduction to Black Physicians of Canada, including an overview of our vision and mission, as well as information on our membership and mentorship programs. Participants will also receive progress updates from Black organizations across the country, who are working hard to improve the Black medical experience nationwide.

The keynote speaker is Mr. Ike Okafor.
