Live Active Community Fun Run

The AMA Youth Run Club invites you to celebrate a beautiful spring Saturday in the great outdoors of Hawrelak Park, with the Live Active Community Fun Run!

On Saturday, April 8, pack up the family (all ages welcome), lace up your treads and head down to the river valley for the Live Active Community Fun Run.

Hosted by:
The AMA and its YRC partner – Ever Active Schools – invite AMA members, their families and clinic and practice staff; AMA staff and their families; and YRC sponsors (Alberta Blue Cross and MD Financial) and their families to run, jog or walk the 1.5 km, 3 km or 6 km in Hawrelak Park, with the Live Active Community Fun Run.

Event Times

9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - On-site registration

10 a.m. - 6 km fun run start

10:05 a.m. - 3 km fun run start

10:10 a.m. - 1.5km fun run start

10:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. - Post-event snacks, prizes and fun

Click here to register in advance. On-site registration (east side of the pavilion/concession building at Hawrelak Park) begins at 9 a.m., with the fun runs beginning at 10 a.m.

Click here if you’re able to volunteer to help out with the run. We could use some help with event set-up, registration, course marshalling, dispensing post-run snacks and event tear-down.
