This publication from the Physician Compensation Committee is designed to provide regular updates on the approvals, decisions and accomplishments that take place at that table.


The Committee continues to make progress in the provincial individual fee review.

Also, the PCC is pleased to share important news on the upcoming April 1, 2016 Allocation.

Recent Activities

Individual Fee Review

Following the publication of its preliminary decision, the PCC met with all interested Section representatives to share information, provide input and address potential code changes that affect their Section. Interactive workshops and presentations were conducted until mid December, 2015.

The PCC is now focused on arriving on final decisions regarding the Individual Fee Review, and expects to publish its decisions shortly.

April 1, 2016 Allocation

The PCC is pleased to provide an update regarding Allocation 2016.

The Allocation introduces a number of section-requested amendments to the current Schedule of Medical Benefits, including rule changes, fee code wording changes, and the addition and deletion of fee codes.
