Apply for leadership opportunities with the CMA

The CMA is committed to bringing in passionate leaders who are ready to make a difference and has exciting and fulfilling opportunities to join the CMA Board of Directors and committees.

Applications are encouraged from eligible candidates of all backgrounds, regardless of their prior experience with the CMA. The following opportunities for an initial term are opening in August 2023 may be of particular interest to members in Alberta:

  • Audit and Finance Committee, Member-at-Large
  • CMA Board, Director from Alberta
  • Committee on Ethics, Medical Resident Member

The CMA also has several positions where the incumbents are currently completing their first term and have indicated their willingness to serve for a second term; new applicants are not precluded from applying.
