Wave 1 of Connect Care has launched. How is it affecting community and AHS physicians?

This past Sunday, November 3, the Wave 1 implementation of Connect Care was launched. Continue reading to find out how this is affecting community physicians and AHS physicians

With our system partners (Alberta Health Services, the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Alberta College of Family Physicians), we continue to create resources you need as a community provider to stay connected and informed about Connect Care. Please visit the Connect Care Community Provider Resources web page for helpful information including the following two new documents added this month:

As with any change there is always the chance for unexpected challenges.

For a few weeks after November 3, we ask that you and your clinic be particularly vigilant to ensure that electronic results are arriving in your EMR as expected.
