Improved newsletter platform gives AMA members more choice

May 3, 2018

In an effort to improve your experience and to provide you more control over the information you receive from the AMA, we have improved the look, feel and service provider for the regular e-newsletters we send to you. Over the coming weeks you will begin receiving redesigned versions of our regular newsletters, such as MD Scope, Section News, Billing Matters, etc.

As each newsletter has its own mailing list, members will be able to unsubscribe from the newsletters they specifically do not wish to receive (previously, unsubscribing from one newsletter unsubscribed you from all of them). If you accidentally unsubscribe from an AMA newsletter, please connect with us and we’ll get you added back to the mailing list. Note: Due to the platform change, if you have previously unsubscribed from a newsletter, you will need to unsubscribe from it again.

If you’d like to unsubscribe from all AMA e-newsletters, or if you have any questions or feedback about our new platform, please get in touch with us at

We hope you enjoy the new design and functionality!

The AMA advances patient-centered, quality care by advocating for and supporting physician leadership and wellness.
