Dr. Sarah Burton-Macleod

Sarah Burton-Macleod MD CCFP(PC) is a palliative care physician who is currently working with the palliative care consult teams at both the Royal Alexandra and University Hospitals in Edmonton. She has an interest in medical education and likes to tell learners at every opportunity that the palliative approach is one that all of us can provide.

Dr. Burton-Macleod is from the Maritimes. She completed medical school at Dalhousie University before coming to the University of Alberta for Family Medicine Residency, followed by an additional year of training in Palliative Care.
