You are invited to join a webinar on the Practical Guide to COVID-19 Immunization – Providing answers to your patients hosted by Infectious Disease Specialists Dr. Allison McGeer, Dr. Angel Chu, and Dr. Cécile Tremblay. You will have the opportunity to review and discuss the latest recommendations and evidence surrounding the COVID-19 vaccines.

The webinar will be presented four times in April and May to facilitate access across Canada. They will be recorded and available on-demand for registrants only. Registrants will receive a link to the recording. More dates to be released for a webinar series in late May

  • Identify the main results of the pivotal trials for the mRNA and viral vector vaccines currently being used in COVID-19 vaccination programs in Canada;
  • Evaluate the most recent real-world evidence on vaccine safety and effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19;
  • Discuss the practical considerations associated with administration of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized in Canada;
  • Discuss the rationale behind the current National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommendations on COVID-19 immunization.
