Report My Story is a simple, secure text line designed for AMA members to report real experiences from daily practice. Your lived experiences help the AMA advocate for resources, policies and improvements necessary to strengthen care for all.

If you witness a gap in patient care or see the system falling short of what patients need, text 587-401-9591. No app download required — just save the number for quick access.

What to expect

You’ll receive a response from Advocacy & Engagement within a few days of texting Report My Story. To verify membership, we’ll ask for your surname and the last three digits of your AMA ID. If additional follow-up is needed, we’ll reach out by phone or email.

Photos and videos are automatically removed for security. If a visual would enhance your message, we’ll connect via email.

To ensure privacy, we ask that you remove potential patient identifiers from story submissions.
