Financial Health

The AMA assists and supports members in maintaining their financial health. This includes negotiating with payers to ensure fair compensation, the provision of practice management services and the offering of financial products. Members in training are supported through a number of scholarships and bursaries.

A key pillar of our strategic priorities, as outlined in the AMA business plan, System Leadership and Partnership drives many of our ongoing activities and advocacy efforts.

Help is Available

The Physician and Family Support Program (PFSP) provides confidential support and help with personal health issues and promotes health and well-being for the profession that cares for all Albertans.
