The Alberta Medical Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1905, the same year as our province. As a member-focused organization, the AMA represents the interests of Alberta physicians, residents and medical students in support of a high-functioning health care system. We provide leadership support and advocacy to ensure physicians' vital role in delivering quality health care is both recognized and strengthened.
