If a physician attempts a closed reduction of a fracture unsuccessfully and finds it necessary to transfer the care of the patient to another physician, the referring physician may claim 100% of the benefit listed for such fractures.

The listed benefit may be claimed by the physician receiving the transferred patient and providing the final reduction.
