Eligible AMA members are invited to submit their application by February 23, 2026. Unsuccessful candidates may reapply during the general call open to all AMA members from March 23, 2026 to April 21, 2026.
As President in 2027/28, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of health care in Alberta — both by influencing decision-making on key issues and helping to define and advance the vision and standards of medical practice. The AMA President helps drive the evolution of medicine through leadership, advocacy, education and innovation.
