I’m writing to inform you that government issued a bulletin today regarding the second and final retroactive fee-for-service (FFS) payment for the 2024–25 fiscal year, as outlined in the 2022 AMA Agreement.
This payment covers services provided from December 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and will be deposited on August 29, 2025. It follows the first retroactive payment issued in January for services delivered earlier in the fiscal year.
Each payment is calculated based on the 2024–25 macro-allocation rate increase for your section and will be deposited via electronic funds transfer. Please see the bulletin for full details.
The AMA continues to work actively behind the scenes on broader compensation matters – including stipends and clinical ARPs – and we'll update members as details and timelines are confirmed.
