Learn how Juno EMR works with CII/CPAR.
Encounters
Primary care providers that are opting in to CII/CPAR Panels are required to opt-in to CII/CPAR Encounters.
Encounters are high level summaries of a patient’s recent visits, which are displayed in the Community Encounter Digest (CED) in Netcare.
Note that the provider’s chart notes are not included. Only certain data fields in the EMR related to the visit are sent.
Juno is working on implementing Encounters in the future. Once that is complete, they will publish a data map showing how each CED field is generated from Juno data fields. Providers will be informed before Encounters go-live for Juno users.
Panels
Please see Juno’s CPAR User Guide for details about creating and maintaining CPAR panels in the Juno environment
Consult Reports
Submitting Consult Reports to Netcare from Juno is not available at this time, although it may be an option in the future.
- If you are trying to register a provider for Consults only on the eCOP, it is suggested you wait until that function is available before adding them to this form.
- If you are trying to register a provider for panels, encounter and Consult Reports, please register them for panels and encounters only for now. They will have the opportunity to opt-in to Consults at a later date.
Additional Resources
If not all of your providers in the clinic are live on CII/CPAR, review Information Sharing in Partially Onboarded Clinics for additional information to learn what encounter information will be sent to Alberta Netcare.
