Section of Indigenous Health

The Section of Indigenous Health was established at the Spring 2025 Representative Forum, with the overwhelming support of RF delegates. We are the first Section of Indigenous Health in Canada and exist to represent the interests and concerns of Indigenous physicians and all those who care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis patients across the province.

Join Us! If you’re not already a member of the Section of Indigenous Health, consider joining. We need your perspective, your ideas and your insight.  Let your voice be heard. When you become a section member, you pay applicable section dues in addition to AMA membership dues. The section receives 100% of the dues collected to support the work of your section. To check your section membership status, please email [email protected] or [email protected].
