Lead the future of health system sustainability

Your voice matters. Your leadership is needed. 
The AMA is inviting physicians to guide the use of health system resources by joining pivotal committees tasked with shaping a more sustainable, high value health system.

Drawing on diverse physician expertise, these committees will review anonymized practice patterns to strengthen quality clinical and billing practices using peer collaboration to drive meaningful system improvements.

Physicians can participate in the:

• Quality Stewardship Committee: Contribute evidence-informed recommendations that advance clinical best practices, shape policy and elevate patient care. This committee reports to the AMA Physician Workforce & Stewardship branch.

• Peer Review Billing Committee: Strengthen resource stewardship and identify and promote billing best practices. Collaborate with colleagues and sections to share knowledge, support billing consistency across the profession. This committee reports to the AMA Board.
