What is something People May not Know about You?
I love running really long distances.
What appealed to you about becoming an APL?
Helping develop leadership skills in our medical community.

What has been your favourite part about being An APL?
Helping educate clinics and onboard clinics to CII [Community Information Integration]. It is extra special when you see a patient whose care is positively impacted by having the consult resorts uploaded to [Alberta] Netcare.
What are you looking forward to doing in the future as an APL?
Continue to work with the CII team and help colleagues complete their PPIPs [Physician Practice Improvement Program requirements].
FINAL THOUGHTS
I've had a great experience being an APL! I have learned about privacy, CII/CPAR, PPIPs and many other topics. Without APLs I would not have had the opportunity to learn about and share my learning in these areas.
