What is something People May not Know about You?
I have an interest in classical guitar.
What appealed to you about becoming an APL?
Given that I am in the latter third of my career in clinical and academic medicine, I thought that becoming an APL would enable me to contribute to improving health care for Albertans.

What has been your favourite part about being An APL?
My favorite part of the APL to date has been involving myself with the Physician Practice Improvement Program.
What are you looking forward to doing in the future as an APL?
I am looking forward to involving myself with aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) that integrate with physician workflow and clinical decision support.
FINAL THOUGHTS
My APL experience has provided me with increased insight into the government of Alberta’s efforts to integrate all physician groups into the decision making process on how to improve physicians’ productivity, workflow, and effectiveness in delivering patient care.
