Highlighting dedicated ACTT Physician Leads (APL) and their contributions to advancing health care
Dr. Lisa Stevenson

What is something People May not Know about You?
I want to try to raise a CNIB puppy when I am in retirement.
What appealed to you about becoming an APL?
Working with like-minded physicians that are not afraid of change and want to lead that change.

What has been your favourite part about being An APL?
One of my accomplishments was playing a small part in showing my fellow family physician colleagues that the PCPCM [Primary Care Physician Compensation Model] was a better model than FFS [Fee-For-Service], and [encouraging them] to sign on and try it.
What are you looking forward to doing in the future as an APL?
I look forward to working with ACTT to update guidelines, for example, the transition from paps to high-risk HPV for cervical cancer screening.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Working with the ACTT team and my fellow APLs has inspired me to look inwards and try to continue to evolve and lead change that will improve patient care and improve the experience of being a physician day to day.
