What is something People May not Know about You?
After a 30-year hiatus, I took up distance running again in January and have completed two half-marathons so far with more already planned for next year.
What appealed to you about becoming an APL?
Having a direct and positive impact on improving the delivery of health care in Alberta by assisting my colleagues integrate technology into their practices.
What has been your favourite part about being An APL?
As a former Provincial Physician Trainer for Connect Care, I enjoy teaching and helping my colleagues, so I really enjoy presenting the PPIP webinars.
What are you looking forward to doing in the future as an APL?
Helping develop the new AI PPIP webinar was
a rewarding experience so I hope to assist the ACTT team in bringing in more interest and participation from community and tertiary specialists by helping develop new and appealing programs.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Working with the AMA ACTT team has been an experience in truly meaningful work. I've had the privilege of collaborating with a team of hard-working and dedicated professionals to help make positive, tangible changes in Alberta's health care system. Being an APL is not just a title; it's a shared mission to make a difference.
