Privacy of personal member information is important to the AMA. To that end, a privacy guideline has been established for sections regarding safeguarding, use, collection and disclosure of personal information. Article 9.2 of the Section Bylaws Template (as revised May 2016) states: “The Section shall adhere to such privacy guidelines as may be adopted by the Association for Section purposes from time to time.”
