Physician Leadership Network

As Alberta’s healthcare system evolves, physician leadership is critical.

Facilitated by the Accelerating Change Transformation Team (ACTT), the Physician Leadership Network provides a space for physicians across various specialties to learn and develop leadership skills together and share experiences and expertise in a supportive community environment.

By far the highest yield resource I’ve used for creating my teams is the ACTT Physician Leadership Network.

Featured Session Recording

Watch our most recent session, Influence Vs. Advocacy: Distinguishing the Difference. More and more, physicians are being invited to be part of committees, task forces and working groups. Sometimes a physician's role demands advocacy and sometimes influence - and sometimes both.

We talk about the differences in styles and approaches, and share tips for success.

I would encourage every physician to participate in the Physician Leadership Network. The presentations are top-notch, free of bias, and so helpful. The best part is interacting with physician leaders from all over Alberta. Highly recommended. Two thumbs up!!!
