For over 100 years, the Alberta Medical Association (AMA) has represented and advocated for Alberta physicians and their patients.

Learn about the proud history of our association and this province's pioneering Alberta doctors, such as Dr. Harold Hamman, who, aided by two courageous pilots from Edmonton, battled diphtheria in remote northern Alberta in the depths of winter, 1929.
