Beyond the Patient

For many physicians, their role as a health care provider is about much more than the patient sitting in front of them; it's about looking "Beyond the Patient," to understanding and respecting people (and patents) in the context of their families, homes, communities and cultures.

Whether within their own communities, cities, countries or on the other side of the world, Alberta's physicians volunteer their time and effort to help improve the health and lives of populations everywhere.
