Message to doctors evacuating NWT or northern Alberta communities

If you are a physician, resident physician or medical student evacuated from your home or practice community due to the wildfire and need a place to land in Edmonton or another community, we may be able to help.

If you have been evacuated, request information on available accommodations by emailing amamail@albertadoctors.org.

If you have space available to host a colleague, please let us know by emailing amamail@albertadoctors.org.

Be safe. We wish everyone an early return to your homes and practices. Let us know if there are other ways we can assist.

If you work in a rural community that is hosting evacuees and are in need of additional physician support, let us know. AMA and the Section of Rural Medicine will do what we can to contribute to some emergency support. Email amamail@albertadoctors.org.
