Contact with the new government

Dear Members,

With the election behind us and the new government in place, there are many things to get done.

Minister of Health Adriana LaGrange and I had a brief conversation this morning. I appreciated receiving her call.

We have provided a written briefing package to the ministry. Next up: scheduling an early meeting to lay out the critical issues facing the profession, particularly the crisis in family medicine and health human resources.

    Dr. Rinaldi should also address the difficulty in medical care for Long Term Care.
