SCA surveys members about Connect Care

June 28, 2023

Dr. Fredrykka Rinaldi, AMA PresidentDear Members,

Connect Care is one of the topics about which members contact me frequently. The Specialty Care Alliance recently conducted a survey to assess the impact on members. The SCA is also working with AHS to address concerns that have been raised, resulting in a joint letter that was sent to AHS physicians earlier this afternoon. You can view results from both surveys as follows:

You are always welcome to share your thoughts with me. You can email me via You can also comment on this letter on the AMA website.

Thanks to those who administered and participated in this survey.

The biggest problem with ConnectCare is that not all physicians who need access are given access. Please ask that access be provided to those physicians who can't even participate in a survey because they are treated lesser than other physicians and healthcare workers.

So we have an "opportunity for improvement in several areas". AHS, and the CMO, spinning furiously the abysmal results from the Arch Collaborative survey of Connect Care.

Spin followed up by classic deflection. Not so subtly hinting that the fault may lie with physicians and health care staff who are not taking the time to personalize their Connect Care applications or seeking out additional training.

George Orwell wrote a famous book about this, did he not?

“War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”
