MAPS virtual session

Dear Members,

Government is moving forward with the Modernizing Alberta’s Primary Health Care System (MAPS) initiative. The AMA is fortunate to have strong representation from physician leaders in the work that is being done. Further announcements are expected soon.

Rural medicine has its own unique challenges. Government is convening a virtual discussion on rural and remote primary health care on March 23 from 5 - 7 p.m. I wanted you to know that this conversation is happening and make registration information available to all AMA members who may wish to participate.
