Representative Forum virtual meeting tomorrow

Dear Members:

It’s been an interesting week, with events making it increasingly clear that we have a long road ahead of us to establish a working relationship with the Minister. I still believe there is a way forward and that we will return to the table to negotiate an appropriate agreement and/or resolve any disputes through third-party arbitration. A negotiated agreement is good for the province and good for Albertans.

To seek guidance from leaders of the profession, there will be a special virtual Representative Forum meeting tomorrow morning. The Board will share plans to keep the organization strong and focused as we work through the issues we are facing. We will also seek direction on a number of strategic options for the short and long term.

I will update you following the RF. I look forward to benefitting from the always reliable wisdom of our governing body.
