MyHealth Records

Coming Soon!

Alberta Health will soon be introducing the MyHealth Records portal, providing Albertans with online access to personal health information.

From their computer, smartphone or tablet, the MyHealth Records portal enables patients to view some lab tests – including results for cholesterol, iron, kidney and liver function – immunization records and their medication history.

By making patient health information from Alberta Netcare available to registered users of the portal, MyHealth Records helps Albertans play an active role in their health care decision-making. Patients can share reports and results in MyHealth Records with their physician(s), either through their mobile device or via print-out.

The AMA and CPSA support the new portal

“This is an idea that the Alberta Medical Association has supported for many years,” said AMA President, Dr. Alison Clarke. “Patients will be more active participants in their own care and in their relationships with their specialists or personal family physicians. It’s a very good thing for the health care system.”
