Dr. Karen Leung

Dr. Karen Leung completed her joint Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science degrees at the University of Calgary.

She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Care of the Elderly, Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta.

Her clinical work at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital consists of both outpatient consultative services and inpatient care focusing on geriatric rehabilitation.

She greatly enjoys her role in clinical medical education and working in a team-based environment to advance the care of older adults.

Dr. Leung’s research interests include systematic review and meta-analysis, medical education, palliative care and dementia care.
