Dr. Christopher J. Symonds bio

Dr. Christopher J. Symonds is a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of Calgary, Department of Medicine, Endocrinology – Specialty Training Program.

After graduating from the University of British Columbia with his MD in 1988, Dr. Symonds completed two fellowships with the University of Calgary: internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism.

Dr. Symonds continues a full and distinguished career teaching, serving on committees, taking on speaking engagements and much more. Currently, he serves on the ENT Search and Selection Committee with the U of C and is the Endocrine Tumour Group Leader at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary.

Dr. Symonds’s clinical and research interests include thyroid disease, osteoporosis and medical education.
