November 4, 2021

Thank you Residents for your participation in RWC 2021 - Wellness AF*!

*And Fun! What did you think we meant?

On November 4, 2021, In collaboration with the University of Alberta’s Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing and Professional Association of Resident Physicians of Alberta, the AMA's Physician and Family Support Program held the Resident Wellness Conference (RWC) 2021.

RWC 2021 was an interactive half-day of resident-focused wellness and community building activities to help attendees re-charge their residency journey in this disruptive and disconcerting time. It was a time and space for them to explore various concepts that they could choose to use in their wellness journey.

Here is what Violin MD, Dr. Siobhan Deshauer, plenary speaker for RWC 2021 shared with residents
